Savvy Auntie Presents at SMBNY4

Dear Readers,

I was asked to present at the Social Media Breakfast NY #4 earlier this month about Branding: Building, Managing and Thriving Online. Me? Talking about my brand? But I just launched in July! What an honor!

  1. Melanie - So I've heard a TON about your site and been meaning to check it out for awhile but finally found my way here. I just poked around for awhile and ended up watching your presentation at SMBNY and I am completely hooked.
    On the one hand, I work in PR for one of the largest consumer agencies in the world and love it. I love working with brands, I love everything media - social and traditional - and enjoy eating, sleeping and breathing my job so I am immensely impressed by what you've accomplished.
    On the other hand, I am an Aunt to three (soon to be five!) of the most precious children in the entire world. I live 40 minutes from them and can't go more than a week without seeing them. Their pictures paper my office and bedroom and I call at least twice a week to talk to them on the phone.
    Rambling, perhaps, but you've struck a cord and I realized I'm a part of a demographic I never knew existed but now see the relevance and potential strength of. Thank you for taking the time to bring that to life for thousands and ... me.
