I'm an Entrepreneur too :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6752638447150863337.post-80773532962086705502008-04-15T23:52:00.000-04:002008-04-15T23:52:00.000-04:00Many of you have commented about how this is our t...Many of you have commented about how this is our time - as women - to be entrepreneurs. I think you're right. Never before has the opportunity to pave our own way, in our own way, been afforded to us in the way it is now. We are all very fortunate. And I think we know that.Savvy Auntie Melanie Notkinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05489819933078648658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6752638447150863337.post-47732935277758556482008-04-15T18:13:00.000-04:002008-04-15T18:13:00.000-04:00I can so relate to your story! I knew it wasn't a nurse (which was my major...) and I knew I wanted to raise a family, but not until the last year or so have I finally found ME. I have always been an entrepreneur, thanks to a mom and dad who are both entrepreneurs as well. I've started businesses a few times, and living in L.A. as a freelancer for so long, you are your business. Now I see that I am a writer AND a business person along with being a mom. Blogging has brought opportunities my way that may have never come to me since I'm not pounding the pavement, but pacing the playground instead. People can actually FIND me now.

I also think that women becoming so smart and empowered has paved the way for this entrepreneur that lives inside you and me. We're quietly taking over the world. Just you wait. ;)

P.S. Didn't mean to turn this into a "girl power" comment, but hey. It's where it went, so I went with it. :)To Think is to Createhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07991324171850357891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6752638447150863337.post-38800231980988985752008-04-13T15:14:00.000-04:002008-04-13T15:14:00.000-04:00I now have a MAJOR girl crush on you.I now have a MAJOR girl crush on you.Carringtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13627647999979399362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6752638447150863337.post-80582117213592669292008-04-13T14:20:00.000-04:002008-04-13T14:20:00.000-04:00you rock! can't wait to see what savvy auntie has...you rock! can't wait to see what savvy auntie has in store for us!laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07458889389524617312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6752638447150863337.post-49736216027971987072008-04-13T13:06:00.000-04:002008-04-13T13:06:00.000-04:00Not surprisingly, I have a similar story. And I really think we're lucky to be living in this amazing age, where we can basically dream it and be it, creating it ourselves through the tools and networks available, if we mobilize them correctly. I'm personally glad we've moved into an era when it's less about the resume and more about the relationships. Looking forward to more posts and seeing SA develop!Esther Kustanowitzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17598539253079410648noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6752638447150863337.post-68672325888017537672008-04-13T13:03:00.000-04:002008-04-13T13:03:00.000-04:00I think all Entrepreneuers are born with "it". Whe...I think all Entrepreneuers are born with "it".

When other girls played with Barbies, I was fundraising for girl scouts, and performed at the teather we made in our back yard (and sold tickets to neighbours and made enough money with intermission coffee sales to go to movies later that day).

While for some of us it takes longer to really "know" it inside us we were born entrepreneuers, and life takes turns here and there, it is even sweeter when you finally in your 30's or even 40's realize what you were meant to do.

I can't wait for SavvyAunties.com to launch, and I'll be here to cheer and help you in any way I can!

KatjaKatjahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11861942082152104819noreply@blogger.com
